Hey Everyone…

Just a couple updates and such for everyone as we progress into Summer…

The Strawberry Festival Air Rifle Trailer was a great success, and we’d like to extend a big THANK YOU all the families who helped out…

We had our first real Shotgun practice in a long time, weather has not been kind to the shotgunners this spring. We will be moving shotgun practice to 1st and 3rd Fridays working on the what will be the best time, most likely 5:30 or 6:00. We will be on this schedule until the range shifts back to winter hours.
Speaking of Shotgun Practice, we were able to do a little break in on our new NRA grant shotguns, and now that we have these guns available it would be a great time for any kids that have any interest in shotgun to stop by and give it a try…

4H Southeast District shoot is going to be Saturday June 28th, if you plan on attending and competing, be sure to let us (Eddie & Paul) know…

Next meeting is this coming Thursday, at 7PM…

We are going to change how we deliver information to you, we have set up a subscription based email news server, that will deliver information to your email somewhat like we do now, but a couple things will change, you must subscribe yourself at http://4htopshooters.org/phplist/?p=subscribe
You will be given the choice of which lists you would like to be a member of Air Rifle, Archery, Shotgun and Small Bore Rifle, Everyone will be on the General list. This will allow you to get only the information on the disciplines that interest you such as cancelations and schedule changes, and gives us an easier way to distribute this information. You must subscribe if you wish to continue receiving information, we will stop using this distribution method in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

Keep in mind that we do not always have time to get information about cancelations out in a timely manor, so here are our weather guidelines that will cause a cancelation of outdoor practices precipitation including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, hail, toads (or other animals), temperatures below 45 (ambient or wind chill) or above 90 (ambient or heat index), hazardous weather conditions thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, or any biblical plagues. Indoor events can be canceled by any of the above conditions that may cause unsafe travel conditions for you or our volunteer* instructors. We will endeavor to give you as much advance notice of schedule changes or cancelations as possible. The basic rule of thumb is having fun safely.
